Pat Greer
Board Member
Before retiring, she served at the University of Denver, where she spent 11 years creating and directing two Master of Science programs: Leadership and Organizations, and Strategic Human Resources. Pat also played a key role in developing a new master’s program in Nonprofit Leadership.
Her professional background includes 23 years in local government, where she held a range of leadership positions such as Assistant City Manager, Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development, Manager of Animal Control, and Manager of Code Enforcement. Additionally, she spent seven years working in the aerospace industry.
Beyond her professional roles, she has served 21 years on nonprofit boards, volunteered seven years as a Master Gardener, and taught for 33 years as an adjunct university professor. Her teaching areas include leadership, ethics, sustainability, systems thinking, nonprofit excellence, and human resources.
Pat has presented internationally on topics such as leadership, human resources, collaboration, moral distress, adaptive leadership, training, and organizational development.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and six grandchildren, training her dogs, riding her horse, gardening, camping, reading, and relaxing with her cat.
