Fund IRL

Turning Social Media Settlements Into Real-Life Opportunities for Colorado Youth
Fund IRL is a coalition working to ensure any payouts from current social media lawsuits help fund programs and services that promote youth well-being and healthy development. “In real life” (IRL) opportunities—ones where young people build skills, make friends, and grow—are a powerful antidote to the harms of social media.
In Colorado, CAP is the state convener of the Fund IRL coalition in partnership with Rocky Mountain Partnership and Boys & Girls Clubs Colorado Alliance to convene partners statewide dedicated to supporting youth mental health and out-of-school-time programs that are proven to provide a safe place with trusted adults who foster a sense of belonging, and keep unsupervised devices out of reach so kids can explore and learn In Real Life!
