Best of Colorado Afterschool

Join CAP in recognizing individuals who are believers in the power of afterschool – who are thinking about program design, professional development, and are making other contributions that will influence not only their programs and organizations but have the potential to provide long-term and broad impact on the afterschool field.

CAP is looking to highlight individuals who:

  • Have developed a new program design or method or made contributions that improved a program
  • Demonstrate persistence and passion in their work
  • Go above and beyond their regular job duties to support youth and families
  • Exemplify leadership
  • Prioritize equity within their work

Nominations can be for one of the following categories:

  • Program Coordinator/ Director
  • Program Staff Member
  • Making an Impact in Afterschool: This year’s Making an Impact in Afterschool award will highlight a program or individual that has distinguished themselves by providing innovative and responsive programming or services during this unprecedented time in our history caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
