DIGS (Developing Individuals, Growing Stewards), a new agriculture curriculum from CSUE 4-H STEM, is a 24-lesson program based on Colorado agriculture, designed to be taught in formal and informal environments to third through fifth-grade students. The action-packed lessons are filled with interactive activities covering a range of topics, from plant health to genetics to basic nutrition.

4-H extension agents and 4-H STEM AmeriCorps members in counties across Colorado, including Arapahoe, Denver, Garfield, Larimer and Weld counties have compiled a collection of 66 STEM lesson plans perfect to extend STEM learning beyond the classroom this winter! The lesson plans are available in English and Spanish with digital files being sent free of charge. If programs would like a hard copy of the text, Garfield County 4-H is charging $10 for the paper, ink and binders.
